25 ducks · 4 ways to win · 1 sale

The Golden Bling Duck.

Twenty-five gold ducks. Four ways to win one. A reason for every kid to register and share on the very first night.

The Golden Bling Duck plan: 25 ducks, 4 big opportunities, 1 amazing sale

Why a gold duck works

Most fundraisers are decided in the first 48 hours. If families register and share the store on night one, the sale runs itself. If they wait, it stalls on day seven. The Golden Bling Duck exists to win those first two days. Fifteen of the 25 ducks are gone before the weekend.

Four ways to win one

1. Kickoff night

Register and send ten emails on the first night of the sale. Five ducks. Winners announced the next morning.

2. The 48-hour challenge

Register and send ten emails inside the first 48 hours. Ten ducks. Winners announced when the clock runs out.

3. Wild card winners

Every student who makes at least one sale is entered. Five random winners during the sale.

4. Top sellers finale

The five students with the most sales at the end each take one home. Winners announced at the close.

And somebody wears the duck

The best kickoffs have an adult in an inflatable duck. A principal riding one down the hallway with a pom pom. A front-office hero at the gate next to the VIP Ducks poster. Brian will tell you which costume to order and what to say when you walk in. It takes ten minutes and the kids talk about it for two weeks.

Where it fits

The Golden Bling Duck runs on top of the regular program. Same two-week sale, same catalog, same online store, same VIP Ducks and prize levels from Giving Market. See the whole thing on how it works, or read what it did for a 150-kid middle school band.

Questions people ask

What is a Golden Bling Duck?

A gold glitter rubber duck in a hat and sunglasses on a keychain clip. Each sale gets 25 of them. Students cannot buy one. They win one.

Does every student have a chance?

Yes. Two of the four drawings only ask a student to register and send ten emails. One needs a single sale. Only the last five ducks go to the top sellers.

Who runs the drawings?

Brian sends the plan, the flyer and the winner lists. The school or program announces the names. Most do it over the morning announcements.

Does this replace the VIP Ducks?

No. VIP Ducks are the collectibles every seller earns as orders come in. The Golden Bling Duck is the rare one on top.
